The first time, he hit his son at the airport. According to new information released Tuesday in court documents. Former NBA player Ben Gordon is accused of punching his 10-year-old son multiple times in the face because the boy dropped a book in LaGuardia Airport.
The criminal complaint says that an American Airlines worker told police that she saw the former shooting guard punch the boy and yell at him after the boy dropped a book on the floor at LaGuardia Airport on Monday night.

Gordon, who is 39, was charged in Queens Criminal Court on Tuesday night with two counts of assault in the second degree, two counts of assault in the third degree, criminal contempt in the first degree, criminal contempt in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child, attempted assault in the third degree, and resisting arrest.

Bail was set by Judge Edwin Novillo at $20,000 in cash, a $50,000 insurance bond, or a $50,000 partially secured bond at 10% of the total amount. Gordon was arrested this time because he beat up McDonald’s security guards.

This week, Ben Gordon, a former NBA player, was arrested again after he allegedly attacked two McDonald’s security guards in Chicago. TMZ Sports has found out… Gordon, who is 39 years old, was caught around 3:30 AM on Friday. The 2004 third-overall pick was being led out of Mickey D’s when he got violent, according to the Chicago PD.
Police say Gordon hit a male guard, age 29, in the face and threw him to the ground. He then pushed another male guard, age 21, to the ground.
No one knew why Gordon was being kicked out of the restaurant to begin with. As a result of the alleged fight, Gordon was charged with two counts of misdemeanour battery. Which means he hurt someone or touched them. The two guards turned down medical help.
