Who’s Ben Gordon?
For those who are unfamiliar, let us tell you, Gordon whose full name is Benjamin Ashenafi Gordon was born in London, England on April 4, 1983. Gordon is not married but the 39 year old shares Elijah with his ex-fiancรฉ Sascha Smith, 32.
He was dating Ashley Banks, a businesswoman based in Los Angeles who was in a relationship with former NBA star Ben Gordon but the two have broken up now.
The 39-year-old who played for 11 seasons in the NBA had played for college basketball for the University of Connecticut. At the time, in 2004, he won a National Championship.
Ben who’s the only player who has won the NBA 6th Man of the Year Award as a rookie player. He has three point field goals for the Chicago Bulls.
Gordon’s father was from Jamaica and his mother was African-American. He was born in London, England, and was raised in Mount Vernon, New York.
During his high school time, he played for Mount Vernon Knights and later he helped to lead the team to the 2000 New York State Public and Federation Championship.
Earlier in June 2017, he was arrested for pulling fire alarms at a Los Angeles building apartment.
Gordon was later hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation after an altercation with a female patron at a holistic wellness center.
Later, he was arrested once more on November 20, 2017 in Manhattan for punching the manager of an apartment complex. At the time, he was released on a $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court.
In October 2022, he was once again arrested for allegedly punching his son at LaGuardia Airport in New York, when he resisted arrest.
