Gegard Mousasi professional career

Gegard Mousasi is a 37-year-old MMA fighter who made his pro debut back in 2003. He is a former Cage Warriors and DREAM middleweight champion, and has also previously won the Strikeforce (2009) and DREAM (2010) light heavyweight titles.

Mousasi joined the UFC in 2014 and had a 9-3 fight record with the promotion. While at UFC, he went on a five-fight win streak but never received a title opportunity. He ended up joining Bellator in 2017 and in just his second fight for Bellator, Mousasi won the Bellator middleweight title against Rafael Carvalho.

However, he lost the title to Rafael Lovato Jr. later in 2019, before eventually winning it back against Douglas Lima in 2020. Mousasi lost the belt a second time against Johnny Eblen back in June 2022.

Fabian Edwards professional career

Fabian Edwards is the brother of UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards, who turned pro in 2017. Edwards joined Bellator in 2019 and currently has a 6-2 record with the promotion. He is on a two-fight win streak at the moment and last fought back in October last year. He won against Charlie Ward via an unanimous decision.
