Of the thirteen PDC European Tour competitions on 2022 PDC Pro Tour, Belgian Darts Open will be the twelfth. From September 23rd to 25th, the competition will be held at Oktoberhallen in Wieze, Belgium. There will be a field of 48 competitors, £140,000 in prize money, and a $25,000 reward for winner.

Belgian Darts Open 2022 Tournament Format
Each match will use a best of 11 legs format starting in the first round and continuing through the quarterfinals. All of the semifinal matches will be played in a best-of-13 style, while the final will use a best-of-15 legs format to decide champion.

Throughout Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, and Gibraltar, PDC Europe is hosting 13 European Tour events in 2022. When the European Tour last visited Belgium, Gerwyn Price defeated Michael Smith in the championship match.
From September 23 to September 25, 2022, the Oktoberhallen in Wieze will host the prestigious Belgian Darts Open. There will be an afternoon and an evening session each day and per session, tickets can be purchased. The top international and Belgian players will be able to display their skills for the world to see, creating an electrifying environment as one of the fastest growing global sports takes center stage.
The winner of this European Tour event will get a £25,000 reward. Meanwhile, second-place finisher will get a cash award of £10,000 with each participant set to receive at least £1000 from the competition. Tickets can be purchased by the fans from here.
2022 Belgian Darts Open Playing Line-up
Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith, Peter Wright, and hometown favorite Dimitri van den Bergh are a few of the top 16 seeded players. Recently, reigning champion Gerwyn Price made the announcement that he had withdrew from this competition in order to rest up for the World Grand Prix. Vincent van der Voort, Adrian Lewis, Simon Whitlock, Mervyn King, and Steve Beaton are among the Tour Card Qualifiers for the Belgian Darts Open. Jelle Klaasen and Kim Huybrechts are among the other qualifiers.
The top 16 competitors from the PDC ProTour Order of Merit on July 26 automatically earned a spot in the competition and were given seeds for the second round. Remaining 32 spots were filled by competitors from six qualifying tournaments: 24 from the Tour Card Holder Qualifier, 2 from the Associate Member Qualifier, 2 from the Host Nation Qualifier, 1 from the Nordic & Baltic Associate Member Qualifier, and 1 from the East European Associate Member Qualifier.
