Following his stellar run throughout the year, Suryakumar Yadav has been named as the winner of best T20I batsman at the 2022 BCCI Awards. Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant have been named as the batsman of ODI & Test format respectively.

Who will be awarded at 2022 BCCI Awards?
After performing exceptionally well in 2022 and managing to score 1164 T20I runs including nine half-centuries and two centuries, Suryakumar Yadav was named the best T20I bater. Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was named best T20I bowler thanks to taking 37 wickets in 2022 at an incredible economy rate of 6.98.
Elsewhere, Shreyas Iyer has been recognized as the best ODI batsman thanks to scoring 724 runs in 15 innings. BCCI named Mohammed Siraj as best ODI bowler, after he managed 24 wickets in 15 innings at economy rate of 4.62. Additionally, Rishabh Pant bagged the title of best test batsman thanks to scoring 680 runs and Jasprit Bumrah was announced as best test bowler due to taking 22 wickets in just 10 innings.
2022 BCCI Awards: List of Awards & Winners
Throughout 2022, Indian men’s team struggled in numerous tournaments and failed to qualify for the final at the 2022 Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup, which limited their ability to win many titles. However, India finished the year on high-note with good chance of making it to the World Test Championship Final. In order to recognize some of the standout performers for their outstanding performance throughout 2022, BCCI revealed the winners as the year came to a close. During their announcement, BCCI announced the list of standout performers across all of the three formats. It is believed that these players will continue their superb form in 2023 and help the country to break title drought by winning some of the prestigious trophies at stake.
