La Liga giants Barcelona are currently having a hard time with their fans after they did not take well with the announcement of a new limited edition home jersey of Rosalisa worth £350 as part of their £237 million partnership with Spotify
Barcelona will sport the limited edition home shirt during Sunday’s El Clasico fixture against long-time rivals Real Madrid.

The new home kit features the logo of popular Catalan singer Rosalia, replacing the previous logo belonging to singer Drake.
Barcelona unveils an expensive new home kit
As part of their ongoing deal with digital music streaming service Spotify, Barcelona released a new home kit worth £350. Moreover, the club also released a highly-exclusive version available for a staggering £1746.25. The jersey can be bought online here.
The difference being that the exclusive home kit top will feature signed autographs by both starting teams in the men’s and women’s clashes with Real Madrid this weekend.
Barcelona unveiled their new kit using a quirky, and murky promotional video. In the video, the new kit was shown hanging up in a dark room with a butterfly fluttering around.
Barca made a punt with the album name by posting:
Calling all MOTOCULERS – Gear up, Rosalia is on our team this #ElClásico. 19/03/2023.”
Following the unveil, the club explained:
Barça and Spotify have picked Rosalia because it is a year ago this month that her album Motomami was released, a record that has stretched the boundaries of contemporary music.”

Earlier at the start of the season, Spotify swapped their sponsor’s place on the shirt for Drake’s owl logo during the first Clasico. The emblem marked the Canadian singer’s achievement in becoming the first artist to reach 50 billion streams on Spotify.
Now, 30-year-old Catalan singer Rosalia will get the honour of having her logo on the iconic home kit. Rosalia’s logo is from her last studio album “Motomami”. The logo will feature on Barca’s home kit as Xavi’s men attempt to move twelve points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the LaLiga table with a victory.
