Bangladesh Likely to Ban PUBG Mobile and FreeFire Over Concerns Of Addiction

Following India’s path, Bangladesh might hand a ban to PUBG Mobile and FreeFire due to addictive reasons.

Bangladesh might join the list of countries that have banned PUBG Mobile. Furthermore, they are taking one more step and considering banning one more battle royale game FreeFire. Although, the reason for the ban is different from India and they found the game is addictive and tends to make youths violent.

Reason for PUBG Mobile and FreeFire Ban in Bangladesh

Earlier, many countries have banned PUBG Mobile in their regions for different reasons. China banned the game for violence, India for data security, Pakistan because of addiction(later uplifted), Afghanistan for spreading hate. Although most of the countries are Asian countries, the game has a rough journey throughout from the beginning.

Moreover, this time Bangladesh government is going to punish two battle royale games including the most famous FreeFire.As per Daily Manab Zamin, the government has already suggested the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission take the required measures for discontinuing both PUBG and Free Fire on the recommendation of the Bangladeshi Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Furthermore, they will also try to deny access to the game by using different kinds of VPNs. Further, the president of the Bangladesh Mobile Phone Users Association, Mohiuddin Ahmed also expressed his concerns and said, “While we are relentlessly working to get the next generation of young people to have access to high-speed internet, the next generation has gone astray by abusing technology, which has made us think.”

Battlegrounds Mobile Ban In India?

Earlier, last month India also saw some controversy regarding the game as a gamer racially abused the state Arunachal Pradesh and its MLA in a YouTube video. Furthermore, it can be said that the PUBG can controversies have walked hand in half from the beginning.

Last year, India banned PUBG along with 118 other Chinese apps under section 69A. Moreover, Krafton the developers of PUBG are going to launch an alternate naming Battlegrounds Mobile India.
