Im one of the instances, Hardik and Rohit fans were even involved in physical fight. However, this time, its something more serious. One person tragically lost his life in Kolhapur’s Hanmantwadi neighbourhood during a violent argument over an IPL match.
What happened?
Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad squared off in an IPL encounter on March 27 at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. When the event occurred, the accused and victim were watching the sport on TV together.
After applauding for Sharma’s wicket during the match, the man got into an incident and was brutally attacked with a stick. The fight broke out between two groups in Hanmantwadi, which is located in the Kolhapur district’s Karveer Taluka, on Wednesday after an IPL match.
The man suffered fatal injuries after being attacked by Balwant Jhanjge and his nephew Sagar Jhanjge during the altercation with a wooden board and a stick. Consequently, the two accused suffered from serious injuries and were admitted to the hospital for medical attention.
The victim has been identified as Bandupant Tibile (63). Authorities have arrested the suspects, Balwant (50) and Sagar Jhanjge (35), in connection with the assault. After Tibile’s death, the suspects, Sagar and Balwant have been brought into jail by the Karveer Police. The matter has been remanded by the court for additional inquiry.
