Baller League
The Baller League initially started out in Germany, with entrepreneur Felix Starck, and footballers Mats Hummels and Lukas Podolski as the founders. The league is a six-a-side indoor football competition. The first edition of the UK version will take place at the Copper Box Arena in London. The UK version of the Baller League is an influencer-led league—headlined by KSI—and it will feature former Premier League players, futsal players and celebrities.
UK Baller League format
The league will feature 12 teams, with each team choosing 12 players selected in a Ballers League draft. Each match will feature 15-minute halves, with a huge twist to the regular six-a-side rules. During the final three minutes of each half, the teams will be reduced to three players per side. Moreover, goalkeepers cannot use their hands, and long-range goals count as double. The competition will officially begin on March 24, with the top four teams taking part in the semi-finals and final.
Baller League UK starts Monday, 24 Mar 2025, 17:00pm in the Copper Box Arena, London. While the next set of the matches will be played on 31 March, the full schedule is yet to be released.
UK Baller League how to watch live
Ahead of the start of the league, Sky and Baller League have announced a one-year broadcast partnership. This means that Sky Sports and NOW will provide the official TV broadcast of the competition in the UK. Sky Sports will broadcast all the matches on their linear channels on Monday nights with hosts, Chunkz and Olivia Buzaglo.
