In their first group stage match of the competition, the Indian women’s badminton team faced China to begin their campaign. In each of the two tournament events, ten players will represent India. This tournament will serve as the qualifier for Thomas and Uber Cups.
Two distinct events, one for men and one for women players, will be part of the tournament. With players like HS Prannoy and Lakshya Sen in the men’s team, the Indian delegation competing in the 2024 Badminton Asia Team Championships will be led by several notable figures.
In 2024, PV Sindhu will return to competition as the captain of the Indian women’s team competing in the Badminton Asia Team Championships.
