Following Minjae’s initial character presentation in the work of fiction, chapter 52 will have additional clarifications and plans that Hyera had in mind to separate Yuna from Minji and most likely take her for herself. The chapters that follow will break down Hyera’s convoluted thinking and the remaining of her past story will give us an answer to her conduct throughout this manhwa.
The previous chapter had ended abruptly with Hyera’s assumption – if Minjae was someone who would switch sides, or if as her sword if she would “change her hands frequently”; which would likely explain how she was figuring out the use for her sword to see if she would be fit to be “the one.”

Things took a nice turn after Yuna apologized to Minji in Chapter 46, with Yuna seeking a proper connection to Minji. The following two chapters focus on Hyera’s original views on Yuna and the various ways to make Yuna hers, following Minjae’s big breakdown and confession, and her successful meeting with Hyera over her plan with the pair.
In the last chapter, we saw scenes of Hyera’s former thoughts. The narrative revealed how amusing and intriguing Hyera found Yuna as a person (to play with – emotionally and romantically), but how she despised Yuna’s crush on a seemingly cute yet dense Minji. Feeling resentful and jealous, and unable to accept the thought that “her” Yuna liked someone else, she enlists the assistance of a fellow college girl, Minjae, to establish a barrier to Yuna’s affection.
