On her way to see Kokoro, Reina-chan runs across someone who resembles her identically, but with different clothing and black hair (just like her former self). After Reina has recovered from the impact, the person disappears. All of this is taking place in front of Hikaru-Chan!, a deceased friend of Reina. Hikaru asserts that the person with the black hair was actually Reina.
After that, Reina muses over the idea of a “parallel world” and tells Hikaru that she and Reina with black hair might have swapped worlds. Reina made sense of the environment she is in right now, one that is quite dissimilar to her own and one where Hikaru once resided.
Reina was conflicted to stay at a friend’s house that she had failed to successfully save by appropriately using an evil spirit because she didn’t have a place of her own, but Hikaru invited Reina to stay because she didn’t have a place of her own. But when Reina realized that Hikaru from this world is enjoying a happy life instead of the Hikaru she once knew, she sobbed with delight.
