YG Entertainment has finally revealed the complete lineup of their upcoming girl group BABYMONSTER.
The label gradually unveiled each member’s performance skills through YouTube videos over the last month. On February 5, the final member, Ruka, was introduced through a cover of ‘Feel Good’ by P-Lo and G-Eazy and ‘Gwola’ by Honey Cocaine, Kid Ink, and Maino.

- Ruka
Ruka, the latest member of the newly formed girl group BABYMONSTER, is also the oldest, having been born on March 20, 2002. She made her debut with the group at the age of 20.
She is one of two Japanese members to debut under YG Entertainment and had previously been a part of the Jpop group Shibu3 Project. In 2018, at the young age of 16, she passed her audition with YG Entertainment and spent 4-5 years training before finally making her debut with BABYMONSTER.
During her training, Ruka was praised for her impressive dance skills, which she had been mastering for a decade. In addition to being a skilled dancer, she also serves as a rapper in the group.
- Prita
Prita hails from Thailand. Her full name is Pharita Chaikong. She was born on August 26, 2005, in Thailand.
She was just 17 years old when she was introduced as a new member of the group in 2023. Prior to joining BABYMONSTER, she had been working as a child model.
- Asa
Asa is a talented rapper and is expected to be one of the main rappers of the group. She was just 16 years old when she was revealed as a new member of BABYMONSTER. Her full name is Enami Asa and was born in Japan in 2006.
Like Ruka, she is also the first to debut in a girl group under YG Entertainment.
- Ahyeon
Ahyeon is a talented rapper and vocalist and is a native of South Korea. Her full name is Jung Ah Yeon. She was born on April 11, 2007, in South Korea.
She passed the first audition for Banana Culture Entertainment in 2017 and the YG audition in 2018. She went on to train for four years, developing her skills as a performer and honing her abilities as a rapper and vocalist.
In addition to her musical talents, she is also multilingual, speaking Korean, English, and Chinese. She was just 15 years old when she was revealed as a member of BABYMONSTER.
- Haram
Haram is a talented vocalist and was the first member of the group to be revealed to the public. At that time, she was only 15 years old. Her full name is Shin Hyerin and she was born on October 17, 2007, in South Korea.
Before debuting, she had trained for about five years to become an idol. She started her career as a child clothing model and then went on to pass the YG audition in 2017 to become an idol trainee. Haram can speak both English and Korean, making her a versatile member of the group.
- Rora
Rora is going to be the vocalist in the group. Her real name is Lee Dain and she was born on August 5, 2008, in South Korea.
Prior to joining the group, she was a former member of U.SSO Girl, a first-generation K-pop girl group from 2017 to 2018. Alongside NewJeans’ Hyein, Rora was part of the group’s first lineup. She is one of the youngest members of BABYMONSTER, debuting at the age of 14.
- Chiquita
Chiquita is the youngest member of the BABYMONSTER group, also known as the “maknae”. Her full name is Riracha Phondechaphiphat. She was born in Thailand on February 17, 2009.
She was only 13 years old when she debuted with the group. She was previously mentored by Lisa and has been training for over two years.
