An insider has gone onto detail how both Ayesha and Steph Curry have backed mom Sonya over father Dell as their parents get divorced
They might have issued an extremely hunky dory statement to the public as news of their divorce became public but the set of events which unraveled a couple of days alluded towards things being extremely sour between Sonya and Dell Curry.
The parent’s of GSW’s Steph Curry, both Sonya and Dell had talked about their decision to get divorced after a trial separation back in 2020. The duo had filed for proceedings in a North Carolina court back in June with the news now coming out in the open.

Proceeding the news of their divorce, finer details of what has transpired in the course of the last year have also emerged. Dell Curry, Sonya’s husband had gone onto accuse her of having a lengthy affair with previous NPL Patriots’ tight end, Steven Johnson.
Sonya had gone onto refute the charges Dell had levelled her way with her accusing him of cheating on her. Reports had also emerged of Sonya speculated to be dating rapper Drake after she asserted that she was in a relationship proceeding filing for divorce.
As things turn extremely ugly between the two, its clear whose side the kids are on. As per an insider who is privy to the latest developments, daughter Ayesha and son Steph have both stuck by their mother with the said to be disgruntled at the manner in which their father has handled things.
A family friend of the Curry’s said, “[Steph] has a special relationship with his mother, and so he’s supporting her. [Steph’s] relationship with his father is strained after this. He’s disappointed that [Dell] would put all their family business out there, and he doesn’t believe the accusations against his mother.”
“Ayesha is really [disgusted] with [Dell] and how he’s handling the split,” the insider added.
