The internal documents were given to an American podcaster, journalist, Matt Taibbi, who began tweeting internal emails showing the involvement of blue bird in the scandal on Friday, December 2, 2022.
Let us remind you, back in October 2020 during the elections, Twitter users started sharing Hunter and President Joe Biden’s involvement with a Chinese Oil giant.
A few users also shared Biden’s involvement with a multi-million-dollar deal with a foreign firm.
However, the new leaked emails have shown us how the platform was approached and used to handle the spiraling situation.
The American author, who had access to Twitter files, revealed how the brand stopped people from sharing the story, including the White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
One such email posted by Taibbi revealed the former President Donald Trump reaching out to staffers complaining that McEnany was locked out of her account after sharing a story of the New York Post.
The platform allegedly used blockers which are usually implemented to prevent distribution of child porn.
The new boss of the platform and the author also showed us how some senior staff of the platform argued over the suppression of the story which includes explosive information about Biden’s involvement with prostitutes, drugs, family disputes and many more.
The entire exposing event started when billionaire Musk tweeted, “What happened with the Hunter Biden story suppression by Twitter will be published on Twitter at 5pm ET!”

He further explained, “They even blocked its transmission via direct message, a tool hitherto reserved for extreme cases, e.g. child pornography.”
He also went on to say that previous CEO Jack Dorsey was not aware of the “amazing subplot of the Twitter/Hunter Biden laptop affair,” before saying that he got involved and it took a whole to undo those effects.
Later, Dorsey accepted that blocking the story was indeed a mistake.
