Emerging sports star Zulqarnain Haider, 14, passed away unexpectedly but his cause of death isn’t known

A 14-year-old boy who was an ambitious athlete who had been called a phenomenal talent passed away unexpectedly. At Melbourne, Australia’s Keilor Little Athletics Club, Zulqarnain Haider was a rising star. The teenager represented Victoria at the national level and has eighteen records to his name. The adored adolescent has received a ton of tributes, but the cause of death is yet unknown.

The track talent won the Australian Junior Championships’ U15 100m crowns. In the past, he had also taken home gold in the 100, 200, 400, 80, and 200-meter hurdle races. He has 18 individual records in Keilor and multiple gold medals at the state and national levels in a variety of age divisions.
With a remarkable time of 11.71 seconds, he captured the U14 100m championship at the Australian Track and Field Championships last year. Additionally, he won the U15 100m championship at the Australian Junior Championships earlier this year.
Tributes pour in after the sudden demise of the young athlete
“Little Athletics Victoria is shocked and saddened to learn of the recent and sudden passing of Keilor Little Athlete Zulqarnain Haider,” the Keilor Little Athletics Club wrote. They further stated, “Those who knew ‘Zulq’ understood that he was an exceptionally gifted athlete. In his brief lifetime, he may have achieved unparalleled success in athletics. We are thinking of his friends and family. Peace be with you.”
“Coburg would like to extend its deepest condolences to Zulq’s friends and family. Several of our players halted what they were doing to watch him run because he was so entertaining to watch. A remarkable talent lost far too soon,” according to Coburg Little Athletics.
“Such tragic news to hear; condolences go out to the Haider family,” Whittlesea City Little Athletics wrote. “We send our sympathies to his family, friends, and everyone at Keilor LAC who got to witness this talent develop into a remarkable athlete,” stated Brighton Little Athletics.
The 14-year-old, popularly known as “Zulq,” was a rising star in the Keilor Little Athletics Club.
