Blue Nose Audio CEO Joe Arden recently reacted to all the allegations against him through an Instagram post as the narrator’s controversy drama went viral

Voice actor Joe Arden has found himself embroiled in controversy within the TikTok Book community, known as BookTok by facing accusations of predatory behaviour and aggression towards fans. The celebrated author who is also the CEO of Blue Nose Audio addressed these allegations on his Instagram account.

A Tailgram post which has since been deleted, sparked discussions online about Joe Arden’s behaviour. Accusations against  Joe Arden included predatory behaviour, “fake, forward-facing feminism,” manipulation, and aggression towards fans. TikTok user @alexintheabstract shared screenshots of the post and they highlighted the allegations of inappropriate behaviour and manipulation.

Tailgram users shared their experiences with Joe Arden, revealing disturbing incidents. One user, ‘No longer protecting him,’ alleged that Arden engaged in a manipulative online relationship with her, reacting aggressively when she did not respond as he wished.

Another user, ‘FakeFeminist,’ claimed Arden opposed equal pay for a female voice actor, citing his role in selling the book as justification for higher pay. As a result of their meetings, she confided in him about her divorce, which sparked their “spicy” chats.

He apparently “threw a fit” during one of their chats because she thought something he said while “s*xting” was funny. Additionally, it was said that he became “hostile” towards her when she did not react the way he had hoped.

According to a Tailgram user “No more BS,” their experience was identical to that of “No longer protecting him.” Joe Arden was accused of “guilt tripping” and “manipulating” the Tailgram user into providing him pictures and videos.

After they declined to collaborate with them, Arden reportedly wrote them “threatening business emails.”

Response from Joe Arden

In response to the allegations, Joe Arden took to Instagram to deny the accusations by revealing that he rejects the anonymous claims made against him online. Despite his denial, the allegations continue to circulate on social media platforms and discussion forums by sparking conversations about accountability and behaviour within the audiobook industry.
