Dubai Tennis Championships is also known as Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships due to sponsorship reasons comes under ATP Tour 500. The tournament annually takes place in February and organises Men and Women events.

This year, the Women’s tournament started on February 14 and ended on 19 February while the 30th edition of the Men’s tournament commenced yesterday on 21 February and will run until 26 played on hard court in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre.

The reigning champion of the Men’s singles is Aslan Karatsev while the champions of the doubles were Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah.

Roger Federer has won most singles titles counting eight from 2003 to 2005 which is also the ‘most consecutive titles’ sharing with Novak Djokovic, then in 2007, 2012, 2014-15 and in 2019. He also reached most finals that count ten. Swiss was a finalist in the years 2006 and 2011. Novak Djokovic has won the second most counting 5.

In Men’s doubles, Mahesh Bhupathi holds the record of having the most titles, five in the year 1998, 2004, 2008 and then in 2012 and 2013 and consecutive that counts two.
