The Dallas Open was held for the first time in 2022, and it was part of the ATP Tour 250 series. It took held between the 7th and 13th of February 2022 at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex in Dallas, Texas. For the first time in nearly 40 years, the ATP Tour returned to Dallas, with this tournament replacing the New York Open.

At the inaugural Dallas Open on Sunday, Reilly Opelka won his third ATP Tour title, defeating Jenson Brooksby in straight sets in an all-American final.
Opelka, the tournament’s second seed, won all 46 service games and only faced one break point, which came in the second set of his 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) triumph over Brooksby.
In 2019 and a year later, Opelka, who is rated 23rd, added to his victories in New York and Delray Beach. Since Jack Sock’s third ATP Tour championship in Delray Beach in 2017, the 24-year-old is the first American to win a third.
This is Opelka’s second victory in this tournament. He also won the trophy in 2019 when the ATP 250, popularly known as the New York Open, was hosted on Long Island. His other victory came in Delray Beach two years ago.
Doubles Result
Marcelo Arévalo / Netherlands Jean-Julien Rojer won against Lloyd Glasspool / Finland Harri Heliövaara, 7–6(7–4), 6–4 and became the doubles champion for Dallas Open 2022.
