ATP Cordoba Open Tennis Previous Winners Full List, Results And Prize Money Distribution

Know the previous winners and prize money pool distribution of the Cordoba Open men’s tennis tournament

Men’s ATP World Tour 250 series competition popularly known as Cordoba Open was founded in 2019 has already taken its place for the 2022 season.

The bad news that came yesterday was that Dominic Thiem one of the top seeds was forced to withdraw from the tournament following a right finger injury meanwhile a lot of others will be seen competing for this week of the season.

2019

The first edition of the tournament was played in 2019, the founding year. Juan Ignacio Londero of the hosting country, who entered through wild card clinched the title defeating Argentine Guido Pella 3-6, 7-5, 6-1. Apparently Londero’s first ATO tour title.

2020

The second edition of the tournament was won by Cristian Garin outlasting top-seeded Diego Schwartzman 2-6, 6-4, 6-0.

The current champion of the Cordoba Open tournament in the Singles Category is Juan Manuel Cerundolo of Argentina. The Argentine beat Spain’s Albert Ramos-Vinolas 6-0, 2-6, 6-2 in 2021, the third edition of the tournament.

2022 

The championship of the season has already taken its place with a round of 32 fixtures on way. Top-seeded players to clash with each other this week to defend the title.

Cordoba Open Winners List Doubles 

2019 

Pair of Roman Jebavy of the Czech Republic and Argentina’s Andres Molteni defeated Argentine duo Maximo Gonzalez and Horacio Zeballos to clinch the title in the first edition of the tournament with a 6-4, 7-6(7-4) score.

2020 

Andres Molteni, who was defending champion of 2019 along with Roman Jebavy lost with Argentine Leonardo Mayer to Marcelo Demoliner of Brazil and Dutch Matwe Middelkoop with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) score.

2021 

Marcelo Demoliner, the defending champion of 2020 had participated with Matwe Middlekoop. In 2021, he was eliminates in the round first only with Santiago Gonzalez.

Brazilian pair of Felipe Meligeni Alves and Rafael Matos won against French duo Romain Arneodo and Benoit Paire to win the title a with 6-4,6-1 score. 

Cordoba Open 2022 Prize Money Pool Distribution Men’s Singles And Doubles 

Along with the trophy, the 2022 Cardoba Open winner will be awarded $46,175, 15.44% much more than the 2021 price money distribution amount. The finalist will go with the runner-up trophy and $32,320 which is a 9.65% increase from last year.
