Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the next mainline instalment in the series, was finally announced during Ubisoft Forward and it was showcased with a cinematic trailer, pre-order details, as well as a tangible release date window
Ubisoft recently teased the game on Twitter with a picture of Basim, a Hidden One who first showed up in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

According to Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a “return to the roots” encounter with an emphasis on stealth and parkour. The game’s pre-order information, as well as its several editions and price schemes, were included in the announcement.
Two digital editions of the game are available, one of which is a sizable collector’s edition with a high-quality figurine of the protagonist Basim and a tonne of other physical goodies.
Finally revealed with pre-order information and a confirmed release date is Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
The Assassin’s Creed Mirage game, which was originally going to be an addition to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, was given the first glimpse by the developers at the Ubisoft Forward conference.
The objective of the game is to provide more background on Basim, an Assassin or Hidden One who helped Eivor, the main character of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, in her mission to unite England against the evil Order of the Ancients. However, towards the end of Valhalla, Basim betrays Eivor and her brother Sigurd and reveals his actual identity as a sage of Loki.

Basim’s transformation into a Master Assassin from a smart street robber is depicted in Mirage, along with how Loki’s essence gradually starts to appear inside of him.

In addition to the digital versions, gamers may now pre-order the $149.99 Collector’s Edition, which comes with a premium figurine of Basim, a replica of his brooch, and other goodies. The Collector’s Edition will also include a special Steelbook with a design selected by fans.
