After competing in the Asian Youth Para Games in Bahrain, the Indian contingent came home on Wednesday with a record tally, know the full medal table of 2021
The Indian delegation brought home 41 medals, including 12 gold, 15 silver, and 14 bronze. India’s performance at the continental para youth games was the greatest it had ever been.

India won the most medals in athletics, with 22 athletes finishing on the podium. Eight players won gold, six silver, and eight bronze medals out of a total of 22 medals.
The Indian badminton team, on the other hand, concluded the tournament with a total of fifteen medals.

Bahrain’s 4th Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG) were the country’s largest parasport event to date. The highlight event took place from December 2 to 6.
Around 750 para athletes under the age of 23 competed in nine sports – para athletics, para badminton, para powerlifting, para swimming, para table tennis, boccia, goalball, para taekwondo, and wheelchair basketball – representing 30 countries.
