2023 Asian Kabaddi Championship results today, India vs Japan winner, score, & day 3 schedule
On Wednesday, the reigning champions India thrashed Japan by score of 62-18 to earn their third straight victory at the 2023 Asian Kabaddi Championship. Thanks to stellar play from Pawan Sherawat, Arjun Deshwal, & Aslam Inamdar, India quickly established 15-0 advantage and maintained their momentum to finish the first-half with 32-6 lead. Although Japan produced moments of magic, they failed to make an impact as India finally won the match by humongous margin of 46-points.
Among other matches of Wednesday, Iran claimed 60-31 victory against Hong Kong and Chinese Taipei crushed Hong Kong to earn their first victory of the tournament by score of 117-12. To finish their day and clinch third consecutive win in the tournament, Iran managed 72-17 victory against winless Korea. Following these results, India sit at the top with six points from three matches including as many wins and Iran are in second-place due to relatively lower score differential.
