The BCCI made the announcements on Friday (July 14) ahead of the competition set to take place in Hangzhou, China.

The men’s Asian Games 2023 will follow a T20 format and take place from September 28 to October 8.
Ajit Agarkar, who is the newly-appointed chairman of selectors of the men’s team, has chosen a B-team for the competition. The selected players will however, not feature for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 set to begin in October 5.
Indian Cricket team for Asian Games 2023
The 15-member Indian squad for the Asian Games 2023 features star pacer Arshdeep Singh alongside Avesh Khan, Shivam Mavi, and Mukesh Kumar. The Indian squad will also have two wicketkeeper-batters in Jitesh Sharma and Prabhsimran Singh. Meanwhile, the spin department will feature all-rounders Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed and Ravi Bishnoi and Shivam Dube. Check out the full squad below.

BCCI announces Senior Women’s Cricket Team for 19th Asian Games
Meanwhile, the BCCI have also announced the Senior Women’s Cricket Team for the women’s edition of the cricket competition. The women’s Asian games 2023 will take place from September 19 to 28 in the T20 format. In contrast to the Men in Blue, the BCCI have decided to send a strong Women squad for the competition.
