The men’s and women’s squads for the upcoming Asian Games 2023, which will take place in Hangzhou, China later this year, were released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday.

At the prestigious competition, Harmanpreet Kaur will serve as the women’s team’s captain and Ruturaj Gaikwad will captain the men’s team. The Indian Premier League performance was a crucial factor in the selection of the majority of the men’s squad players.
Asian Games 2023 Cricket – Full Schedule
There will be 14 matches in the women’s competition and 18 in the men’s tournament in the Asian Games 2023 cricket calendar.
There will be 14 teams competing in the women’s tournament, and the seeding for these teams will be determined by the ICC T20I Ranking as of June 1, 2023. Similarly, there will be 18 teams competing in the men’s competition, and their seeding will be based on their ICC T20I Ranking as of June 1, 2023.
Women’s tournament schedule
The women’s competition is scheduled to being on September 19. There will be two games each day. September 26 will see the conclusion of the women’s competition. Zhejiang University of Technology Cricket Field is where the event will take place.

Men’s tournament schedule
On September 28, the men’s competition is slated to begin. There will be two matches per day, just like the women’s event. On October 7, the men’s competition final will take held. All of the games will be played on the cricket pitch at Zhejiang University of Technology.
