After a pick-up basketball game, a friend of Asia Womack, 21, of Dallas, shot her to death as he was angry that he had been defeated by a woman. The woman was found with several gunshot wounds on the sidewalk in South Dallas by the Dallas Police.

The gunman has been identified as Cameron Hogg, a close friend of Womack’s who is still on the run.

First responders discovered Asia Womack, who had sustained numerous gunshot wounds, on a sidewalk in South Dallas on October 3, according to the Dallas Police Department. She suffered injuries that led to her death that night at a neighbouring hospital.
John Delley, the family’s pastor, told Fox 4 that “this is just senseless.” You feel humiliated mostly as a result of losing against a woman in basketball. According to Womack’s family, the suspected shooter brought his children and brother home after she won the game, then went back to the park and shot Womack five times as she walked home.
“This was supposed to be Asia’s companion. Andrea Womack, Womack’s mother, told Fox 4 News that she had lunch with the man. “He was fed by my daughter, who was then cruelly murdered by him.”
A warrant has reportedly been issued for the arrest of the suspect, 31-year-old Cameron Hogg, according to a local CBS affiliate. “Please, everyone, if you locate this individual and know where he is, please tell the authorities as soon as possible.”
According to Fox 4, Dallas police spokesperson Kristin Lowman stated that “detectives are currently working the case.” “No one is currently being held in custody. Since Monday night, they have been working on it in an effort to bring Miss Womack justice. “I believe in forgiveness, but justice needs to be served,” her aunt Juanita Smith said at a vigil for the young woman, according to local station NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth. Up to $5,000 is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information that results in an arrest.
