This time, the Asia Cup 2022 Qualifiers will feature four Asian sides from the lower ranks —Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, and Kuwait.
The four teams will compete against each other in a round-robin format to book a berth in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022.

The Asia Cup 2022 Qualifiers will feature six matches where each team will play three matches against their opponents.
Asia Cup Qualifiers 2022 Teams And Tournament Format
The Asia Cup Qualifiers 2022 will be played out between four teams in a round-robin format. Each team will participate in three matches, and the team with the highest points will be announced as the winner.
The winning team will qualify for the Asia Cup 2022 T20 tournament. All the matches of the Asia Cup 2022 Qualifiers will be held at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman with Star Sports and Disney+ Hotstar showing the matches.
Which team will win the tournament?
The first match will be played between Singapore and Hong Kong. As of now, the UAE boast a strong squad and are the favorites to qualify for the Asia Cup T20 2022.
Kuwait are another strong team, who are already in Oman playing a five-match T20I series against Bahrain. The team will be well adapted to the Al Amerat Cricket Ground conditions by now giving them an added advantage.

The Asia Cup 2022
The Asia Cup T20 campaign will kick-off on August 27 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) once the qualifiers conclude. As of now, India, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are the five already confirmed teams for the Asia Cup 2022.
The sixth team, as stated above, will be the winner of the Asia Cup 2022 Qualifiers. The winner of the qualifiers tournament will join India and Pakistan in group A and play their first match against India on August 31 in Dubai. The second match will be against Pakistan on September 02 at Sharjah.
