The ‘Battle of the Sexes’ exhibition match is organized by Naomi Osaka’s sports agency and aims to celebrate both competition and equality in tennis. This year’s match will see the current world number one, Aryna Sabalenka, take on Australia’s showman Nick Kyrgios. Ahead of the match, both players have spoken openly about their excitement, with Aryna saying that she would bring her best performance. She added that she respects Nick Kyrgios’s talent but also feels inspired by Billie Jean King’s legendary triumph in the original 1973 “Battle of the Sexes.”
