Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 episode 11 and 12 release date is now out
“The Sword of Aramun” marks the latest installment in the historical fantasy Kdrama Arthdal Chronicles, directed by Kim Kwang-shik.
This season reunites the original cast while introducing new faces, including Jang Dong-gun, Lee Joon-gi, Shin Sae-kyeong, Kim Ok-bin, Shin Joo-hwan, and Park Hae-joon, among others.

Arthdal Chronicles season 2 picks up the storyline eight years after the events of the first season. A long-anticipated war is looming on the horizon, with Ta Gon and Eun Seom preparing for a battle to establish a new dynasty.
Simultaneously, political intrigue and power struggles persist in the shadows, setting the stage for rebellion, bloodshed, and revenge in the land of Arthdal. The question of who will ultimately rule Arthdal and the mysteries surrounding the new dynasty are central to the unfolding narrative.
Cast
Directed by Kim Kwang-shik, the Kdrama features a star-studded cast, including Jang Dong-gun, Lee Joon-gi, Shin Sae-kyeong, Kim Ok-bin, Shin Joo-hwan, and Park Hae-joon, along with other talented actors. The series consists of 12 episodes, with two episodes airing each week on Saturdays and Sundays.
Recap
In Episode 10, Tagon’s frustration and obsession intensify as he encounters the horse Kanmoreu, which rejects him and validates Saya’s earlier words. Eunseom issues a retreat order, but Tachukan and another soldier are captured. Meanwhile, Nunbyeol and Chaeeun discover that Rottip is seeking answers about the Igutus who followed Saya and has gone to meet Shahati, who shares a profound connection with the Neanthals.
On the other hand, Saya awakens and becomes aware of the unfolding events in Arthdal, while Taealha once again seeks information from the battlefield. Tanya also proceeds with her plan, disseminating images of Aramun’s life story with certain alterations. Additionally, Yeonbal arrives to meet Eunseom and warns him that they have blocked the waterways and surrounded the Ago people.
Release Date
Arthdal Chronicles season 2 is set to be available for international streaming on Disney+. The series is scheduled to run from September 9 with Episode 11 releasing for streaming on October 21 at 9:20 PM KST (7:30 PM IST). Episode 12 will drop at the same time on October 22, 2023.

This season of Arthdal Chronicles airs on tvN, taking over the Saturday-Sunday 9:20 PM KST time slot previously occupied by “The Uncanny Counter 2.”
