For the last month, Arsenal fans have been yearning for a new update regarding James Maddison. Linked to the Leicester City player, the club has failed to make any kind of inroads in a bid to get the player to switch to Arsenal.
As reports of Maddison moving to Arsenal died, links to Martin Odegaard grew. Having played for Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid last campaign, the player was said to intrigue the think tank at Arsenal.
And with the La Liga side’s new head honcho, Carlo Ancelotti said to not particularly fancy the Norwegian, Arsenal were said to be in with a real shout of getting Odegaard to join their ranks. However, with this being Arsenal, a side backed by the ever so frugal Stan Kroenke, the club is yet to conduct any meaningful business apart from shelling out a bemusing 50 million pounds for Ben White.
AFC Bell Talks Up James Maddison Transfer To Arsenal Ahead Of Showdown With Chelsea
At a time when the noise around the club in respect to transfers have died down, The AFC Bell has managed to light up dying embers for the club’s ardent supporters. Taking to Twitter today, Bell went onto talk about how Arsenal were working on a deal for both Martin Odegaard and James Maddison.

While Maddison is the club’s priority, the side is also in talks with Real Madrid to ensure they can move in for Odegaard in the event of talks collapsing with Leicester City without having to pay an elevated price.
