Arnold Classic 2022 Bodybuilding Winner List, Final Results, Scorecard And Prize Money

The 2022 Arnold Classic was rescheduled for the first week of March to kick off the bodybuilding season, know the full winner list and prize money

After the 2021 show was cancelled due to the pandemic, there was a full weekend of events planned. Over the course of the weekend, there were seven divisions of competition. Brandon Curry won the Men’s Open to cap off the event!

The Men’s Open lineup has been hit hard, with many names dropping out over the last five weeks. Curry was considered the favourite heading into the weekend due to his unbelievable success in recent years. William Bonac returned to the stage after missing last year’s competition, while Steve Kuclo looked to improve on his third-place finish in September.

The Greater Columbia Convention Center’s Battle Grand Ballroom was buzzing with anticipation for the Saturday night finals of the 2022 Arnold Classic on March 5. It was time to crown champions after rock legend Dee Snider started off the evening.

Pro Wheelchair

After a long and exciting Friday night, Saturday, March 5 began with the Pro Wheelchair division, which Gabriele Andriulli won over four-time Olympia champion and five-time Arnold winner Harold Kelley.

Bikini International

Former Olympia champions Ashley Kaltwasser and Elisa Pecini competed, as did 2021 Olympia runner-up Lauralie Chapados.

Maureen Blanquisco, who hopped both Olympia winners to second place, was up against those three. Chapados won her first Bikini International title and is the undisputed number one contender for Olympia champ Jennifer Dorie, who was watching from the sidelines.

Men’s Physique

Erin Banks, who finished second to champion Brandon Hendrickson at the 2021 Olympia, was the favourite in this division. In the final callout, he was joined in the centre by Emanuel Hunter, who seems to be the best he has ever been.

Wellness International

Because the Wellness International division is so new, the winner of this contest will become the first Wellness International Champion in IFBB Pro League history.

Angela Borges received a lot of applause from the audience, which was amplified when she was compared to Julia Chitarra. The judges were impressed by both competitors. As a result, it was a difficult decision for them. Finally, the judges rule in favour of Nunes, who has become the answer to the trivia question of who won the first Wellness International championship.

Arnold Classic

Former Mr. Olympia Brandon Curry and two-time Arnold Classic winner William Bonac each had their own callout for the judges to decide the winner. To get the fans even more excited, head judge Steven Weinberger put the previous champions through two rounds of posing.

Curry received an additional $10,000 before the results were announced for winning the Ed Corney Best Posing award. William Bonac received the Franco Columbu Most Muscular award, as well as an additional $10,000.

Friday Night Results

The Battelle Grand Ballroom was hopping on night one of the Arnold Classic, which took place March 4-5. Three divisions were crowned champions, and pre-judging for the historic Men’s Open competition began.

Finally, Terrence “Ruff Diesel” Ruffin became the first Classic Physique competitor in history to win two Arnold Classic titles. And along with it, he earned $60,000, which is $10,000 more than the Olympia prize. (He also received an additional $10,000 for being named Best Poser.)
