Martin Anthony Lunde, better known by his stage name Arn Anderson, is a former professional wrestler from the United States. Martin was born in the United States of America on September 20, 1958, in Rome, Georgia.
In January of 1982, Anderson made his debut. Then after wrestling for more than a decade, he retired on August 25, 1997.
Erin Anderson, Arn Anderson’s wife, married the wrestler in 1984. Barrett Anthony and Brock, Arn and Erin’s two kids, were born to them both. For most of his career, Arn has kept his personal life discreet.

Martin Lunde began his professional wrestling career in 1982 when he was 23 years old. He competed in numerous independent wrestling outfits around the United States during his early career. Under the ring pseudonym “Super Olympia,” Arn wrestled for Southeastern Championship Wrestling, in NWA-affiliated banner, in 1983.
Before the conclusion of the year, he was a member of Ron Fuller’s Stud Stable. He won the NWA Southeastern Tag Team Championship three times with Mr. Olympia and once with Buddy Rose in Southeastern Championship Wrestling.
Anderson was about to bag the alliance that would define his career due to a striking similarity between Lunde and Ole Anderson, who was a legend in the Georgia and Mid-Atlantic regions as a tag team wrestler. Lunde, like Ole, was known for his no-nonsense approach in the ring. Lunde then became Arn Anderson to replace Gene Anderson.
By the end of 1985, the Andersons and Tully Blanchard and Ric Flair had forged an alliance against their mutual foes. The Four Horsemen, with James J. Dillon as the group’s manager, worked together in six and eight-man tag bouts, even interfering in each other’s matches to manipulate the outcome to their advantage.

WWF/WCW
The horsemen rode off to the WWF. The “Brain Busters” was established by Anderson and Blanchard. The Brain Busters won the Tag Team championships, putting an end to Demolition’s 478-day dominance.
Anderson returned to Crockett’s organization, now known as World Championship Wrestling, after leaving the WWF. On January 2, 1990, Anderson reunited the Horsemen and won the NWA World Television Championship, which he held for over a year.
After losing it to Tom Zenk, he reclaimed it on January 14, 1991, and began his second reign. He lasted five months as the third reigning champion before handing it up to “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton. Anderson later united with Larry Zbyszko to create “The Enforcers”.
Anderson re-formed the Four Horsemen in May 1993, rejoining the original Horsemen of Ole Anderson and Ric Flair. Blanchard was fired after failing a drug test, and he was replaced by Paul Roma. Over the following few years, Anderson was a mainstay at WCW.
Retirement
However, by the end of 1996, Anderson’s body was showing symptoms of stress and damage. So, Anderson announced his retirement from the ring on August 25, 1997, during the WCW Monday Nitro.
