Last week, a tweet showed Armie’ face on a pamphlet as a concierge (Valet) at the Morritt’s Resort. It didn’t take much time to tweet to go viral.
The Twitter user reportedly claimed in his now-deleted tweet, “My friend’s parents went on vacation in the Cayman Islands and Armie Hammer was their concierge”.
However, the hotel denied the claims whatsoever, and its staff told the media that the flyer was merely a prank pulled by a staff member with whom the actor had become friendly.
Later, Armie’ photos at Cayman Islands’ resort surfaced online. In a picture, he was seen entering the resort’s office. Followed by this, the TMZ publications, published a photo and claimed that Armie is working as a ‘timeshare salesman’.
According to the agency, Variety, claims that a source has informed that Armie is indeed working for the resort and is selling timeshares.
The source reportedly told the agency as, “He is working at the resort and selling timeshares. He is working at a cubicle. The reality is he’s totally broke and is trying to fill the days and earn money to support his family”.
Armie’ Attorney Response
Entertainment Weekly reached out to his Attorney, Andrew Brettler on Wednesday, July 13th. However, his Attorney responded by saying, “I can’t confirm or deny it because Armie hasn’t addressed it”.
Although, previously when Variety contacted the Attorney for comments regarding the flyer, he repeatedly told them it was “fake”.
