The public has long been fascinated by the relationships that exist between well-known athletes and celebrities. The newest internet rumour centres on Lakers player Rui Hachimura and pop sensation Selena Gomez allegedly dating.

In terms of dating, Selena Gomez is going about things on her own terms. As per ET outlet,  from a source, the 31-year-old star of Only Murders in the Building is casually dating but not committed to a long-term relationship. As per the sources:

Selena is casually dating and doing well.

The source further said:

She is doing her own thing and doesn’t feel any sort of pressure to be in a relationship. She is just focusing on what’s best for her right now and has been very in tune with maintaining her own boundaries. Her friends and family support her and just want her to be happy.”

Meanwhile, rumours have connected Hachimura to pop icon Love you Like a Love song famed singer. Later on December 2, a X (formerly known as Twitter) user going by the handle Jake announced the connection. The post stated:

Selena Gomez and Rui Hachimura have been “quietly hanging out.”

Everyone is well aware how celebrities get into all these dating rumours very often which comes out to be fake later. There is no proof that they are dating.

For the past few years, Los Angeles Lakers standout forward Hachimura has been dating influencer-turned-model Briana Delgado. She has amassed almost 290k Instagram followers and consistently posts on all social media networks. In addition to Instagram, Delgado has a FanFix account where fans can submit recommendations for her to get in touch with them.

After sustaining a nasal fracture against the Dallas Mavericks last week, Lakers forward Rui Hachimura will undergo another evaluation in a week. According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, Hachimura sustained the injury at the end of the Lakers’ 104-101 loss to the Mavs in the first quarter. He played the entire 26 minutes, scoring nine points and pulling down three rebounds.

Hachimura’s ailment will prevent him from playing in numerous games for the second time this season. Hachimura had missed four games earlier due to a concussion he suffered on October 29 against the Sacramento Kings.

Unfortunately, he won’t be available to the Lakers very soon. He will be out from the Lakers’ whole four-game road trip, which starts on Saturday against the Cavaliers and concludes on Thursday with the Thunder of Oklahoma City. He was also listed as available for the game, but the Lakers training staff and head coach Darvin Ham decided to bench him.
