Since their greater presence in each other’s lives became apparent on social media through recorded sparring footage, Pereira, 36, and Viana, 31 have been the subject of relationship speculation. Pereira and Viana can be seen sparring once more in the most recent footage, but this time they are doing it on the ground in what appears to be one of the fighters’ kitchens.

It was inevitable that fans would make fun of Pereira, referring to the former GLORY Kickboxing champion as a “BJJ specialist” and making jokes about how long it had been since the UFC light heavyweight champion had smiled. Although both athletes are Brazilian, Pereira moved to Teixeira MMA and Fitness in Connecticut to train with Glover Teixeira. Viana has up till now mainly trained in Rio de Janeiro with the TATA Fight Team, but in recent months, she has been spotted working with Pereira and Teixeira.
While the two haven’t opened up about their relationship status, rumors claim that they are a pair owing to their chemistry.

Among MMA fans who mocked the former three-time title welterweight challenger for his purported relationship with Polyana Viana, Colby Covington also found himself in the conversation.
There were rumours that the two were dating at one point. Nevertheless, following Viana’s insane post about Covington, their relationship deteriorated. Nevertheless, the majority of fan responses praised the new couple and said nothing but positive things about the UFC champion.

UFC 300 features Alex Pereira against former champion Jamahal Hill
The light heavyweight championship match between Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill will be the main event of UFC 300, according to UFC CEO Dana White, after months of fan anticipation. Less than two months before the April 13 event, the formal announcement was made, and it was later revealed to be the main event of UFC 301 in May.
Hill has not competed since defeating Glover Teixeira to win the vacant title at UFC 283. Teixeira is a buddy and head coach of Pereira and will be present at the bout. Only a few months after hurting his Achilles tendon in a pickup basketball game, Hill declared his resignation as champion.
At UFC 295, Pereira defeated former champion Jiri Prochazka to take Hill’s championship, which he had held since November 2023.
