Around the world, the Premier League is the most watched sports league.
Everyone has heard of it, regardless of who you talk to or where you are in the world, and most people will undoubtedly have a connection to one of the 20 teams that compete in the prestigious tournament.

The best football players in the world enter the field each week to perform in front of enormous stadiums filled with fans cheering them on.
Outside of the stands, however, every fan enjoys analysing the game and debating whether their manager used the best tactics before making fun of other supporters.
Some supporter groups may have gotten more vociferous than others, particularly since the advent of social media, which has made it easier for football supporters to express their thoughts on Facebook and Twitter.
In a tweet that has recently gone viral, Liverpool fans have been voted the most irritating in the UK.
Although it’s unclear who cast the vote against the Liverpool fans to be the most irritating but it’s obvious that many fans agree with the idea.
“This Means More” the tagline of Liverpool, which the team has adopted to emphasize the unique link with the fans, has frequently enraged competitors in the Premier League. The idea that cheering for Liverpool is “better” than cheering for other teams offends a lot of people.
Liverpool is an easy target as well. Naturally, rival supporters want to knock them down a peg or two after they won the 2024–2025 championship with ease.
The top two teams in the League, Liverpool and Arsenal, appear to be vying for the title of “most disliked fans.” Arsenal leads the “most annoying fanbase” rankings with 19.58%, just ahead of Liverpool with 17.85%, according to a FreeBets study.
Additionally, Mikel Arteta easily won the title of most annoying manager with 26.86% of the vote, surpassing Pep Guardiola’s 15%.

Using information gathered from 2,000 fans of English Premier League teams, a survey was conducted back in 2022 to determine who supporters thought were the most annoying fans in the league:
1. Liverpool – 19.9%
2. Arsenal – 19.6%
3. Manchester United – 15.4%
4. Chelsea – 9.5%
5. Manchester City – 8.0%
6. Tottenham Hotspur – 5.1%
7. Leeds United – 3.8%
8. Aston Villa – 3.7%
9. Brighton – 2.4%
10. West Ham – 2.4%
