Darshan was reportedly apprehended in Mysuru, with Pavithra detained shortly after. The 54-year-old actress was spotted arriving at Annapoorneshwari Nagar police station, where she was escorted inside for questioning.
Since the morning, Pavithra and Darshan have been making headlines as they undergo police questioning.

Are Darshan Thoogudeepa & Pavithra Gowda Married?
The viral video confused netizens regarding the relationship status of Pavithra Gowda and Darshan. Despite rumors, Pavithra Gowda and Darshan Thoogudeepa, though not married, have been in a relationship for over ten years.
In January, photos of them together gained traction online. The reports of the two involved in affair got leaked in 2011 due to which Darshan and his wife Vijaya Lakshmi hit a rough patch. Darshan has a son as well with Vijaya while Pavithra has a daughter with her husband Sanjay Singh who she has now divorced after a love marriage.
According to media reports, Renuka Swamy from Chitradurga, Karnataka, allegedly sent inappropriate messages to Pavithra Gowda, Darshan’s girlfriend.
Swamy reportedly made lewd comments on Pavithra’s social media. On June 8, Swamy was found murdered, with his body discovered by police the next day.
At first, the cops suspected the case to be of suicide, however, initial suspicions were quickly dispelled by evidence surfacing and indicating foul play.
As of now, the authorities are investigating the case with Darshan Thoogudeepa and Pavithra Gowda being under questioning.
Media reports claim that deceased Renuka Swamy was tortured in a shed near Darshan’s residence in RR Nagar.
