Fans of Oreos were wondering that Banana Pudding Oreos would be available after seeing a recent social media photo. A Facebook page called “Authentic You” published a picture on October 19 that appeared to be an advertisement for “Banana Pudding Cake” Oreos.

The picture showed white cream-filled golden Oreo cookies with banana pudding on top. The post’s description said, “I prefer banana pudding to peach cobbler.” After receiving over 17,000 likes, 1,400 comments, and 7,300 shares, the post immediately acquired popularity. A lot of users were thrilled about the new flavour’s potential.

Regretfully, for enthusiastic cookie lovers, this widely circulated picture is fake. After more investigation, it became clear that the image making the rounds on social media was a digital construct rather than a genuine product. Even while the packaging is intriguing, it does not accurately represent an Oreo product that is currently on the market, regardless of whether it was created by a talented graphic designer or by an AI tool.

A label was added beneath the picture, indicating that the image was probably made fully by artificial intelligence (AI) and that it “may have been created with AI.” In the era of artificial intelligence, it is not uncommon for convincing but completely fake images to become viral within minutes.

The website of the cookie manufacturer does not list Banana Pudding Oreos, indicating that this taste is not available.

The reports about Banana Pudding Oreos have not been unfounded before. Influencer Darrion Da Don, who has over 531,000 followers on Instagram, responded to a similar spoof photo in June that showed Banana Pudding Oreos packaged in yellow.
