While the Tampa police wait outside to serve the arrest warrant, Antonio Brown was still confined to his home
Now, a piece of new information is being revealed.
Before Tampa police issued an arrest warrant for Antonio Brown.
Antonio Brown Remains Confined In His House With Personal Assistant For Two Weeks As Tampa Police Wait Outside To Arrest Him
Nearly two weeks earlier, Tampa police issued an arrest warrant. The current arrest warrant is related to a domestic violence incident involving his children’s mother. Brown is still on the run, largely because he still won’t leave his house and submit to arrest. Since then, further information about why this took so long has become available.
According to Amy Dash of the League of Justice, police could only enter the former receiver’s residence after giving him an arrest warrant, which prevents them from breaking in. The article also states that Brown was inside the home with a personal assistant, who some people think might be a romantic interest.
Police claim that Brown’s female acquaintance and any other visitors he may choose to have been allowed to come and go as they like. Instead of the other way around, the police essentially have their hands tied while Brown is in his house and on his grounds.
What happened before?
Late last month, Brown and the woman got into a verbal argument at his South Tampa house. When Brown tried to shut the woman out, the argument escalated and turned physical. The following day, a judge rejected a request for a temporary risk protection order that would have prohibited him from owning weapons or ammunition if he were deemed a danger to himself or others.
Brown continues to be active across all social media channels. He is unsure of what to expect because he knows that the cops won’t simply forget about him and not arrest him. He’ll eventually have to depart and deal with this warrant. By now, the contentious wideout might have been bonded out.
He is simply charged with a misdemeanour. Following his jogging off the field during a game against the New York Jets, Brown was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in January.
