Anthony Yarde vs Stefani Koykovy Match Events & How it Unfolded?
Yarde, who was four pounds over the 175-pound weight restriction, established control right away by landing solid right uppercut in the opening round and crisp right hand shortly after. Although Yarde occasionally got caught with a counter, he was able to box well within himself because of his control over distance and speed. Koykov was willing, but he was greatly outgunned. Midway through the second, Yarde started landing to the body, and it appeared that his opponent began to lose control.
However, third-round turned out to be just target practice as Koykov was unable to keep up with Yarde, who went through the gears. Yarde hammered his opponent hard to the head and body before his right hook-right uppercut caused Koykov to drop and, bleeding from his left eye. After suffering this fatal punch, Koykov failed to break the count and hence, Yarde was declared winner.
