Anime Central 2023 schedule, dates, time, venue, exhibitor guests list, tickets and panels
Anime fans fasten your seat belt as Anime Central 2023 starts on Friday, May 19, and runs through Sunday, May 21, 2023. Location: 5555 N. River Road, Rosemont, IL 60018, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center & Hyatt Regency O’Hare. Important Things To Remember for Anime Central 2023
The Hyatt Regency O’Hare, located at 9300 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Rosemont, Illinois, USA 60018, is one of the hotels that has partnered with the convention to provide special rates for attendees. Under Plan Your Trip, select Hotels to get a complete list of hotels that have collaborated with the convention.
If you plan on attending, please register in advance at acen.org/registration. This is because membership is mandatory regardless of age. Access to all activities, Artist Alley, and the Exhibit Hall requires membership to Anime Central 2023.
Identification
Anyone above the age of 16 purchasing a Convention Membership at the door must present a valid photo ID. Health and safety policies stress the importance of using face masks while dealing with infectious diseases like COVID-19. The health and safety policies mandate asking about symptoms, albeit this is not a requirement.
Prior to the conference, only Full Weekend Access memberships will be available for purchase online. Only onsite will one-day passes be available for purchase. Admission passes for Friday and Saturday can be purchased at the convention on those days, or after 4 p.m. the day before, however, Sunday admission cards can only be purchased on that day.
Tickets and Passes of Anime Central 2023
Purchase a Friday pass after 4 pm on Thursday and use it until 8 am the following day. The official Anime Central 2023 website confirms all of this.
- Full weekend passes to Anime Central 2023 are $85.00 (plus taxes) for adults and $20 for children under the age of 12 and are on sale from 4/23/23 to 5/21. Two free children under age two per paying adult.
- Badges are $55 for Friday, May 19, and Saturday, May 20, alone.
- Only on Sunday, May 21st Attendee badges cost $45 each.
If you sign up, you can save money on: - When registering a group of 20 or more individuals, each participant will receive a $5 discount.
- Full members can save $55 by preregistering for Road Shows.
- Librarians, educators, sponsors of after-school clubs, marathon runners, and professionals in related fields are eligible for a $45 discount.
- The cost to attend the convention as a member of the public service (military, police, EMT, fire, etc.) is $45, and proof of active duty or veteran status is required either at the convention or through the membership portal on the website.
- On Sunday, May 21st, in honor of Children’s Day, free admission will be granted to children 12 and younger who are accompanied by a paid adult (limit two children per paying adult; all children must be registered).

- Payment cards accepted (Visa, MasterCard, Discover). American Express will not work.
- You can use your debit card if it bears the logos of Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.
- For cash transactions, we can only accept US Dollars and never any other coins.
- We only take company checks and cannot cash personal checks.
Guest in Anime Central 2023
Many famous celebrities including the famous international voice actors will be there.
- Characters played by Kana Ichinose include Ichigo in “Darling in the Franxx,” Maki Shijou in “Kaguya-sama: Love is War,” and “Tuesday” in “Carol & Tuesday.”
- Chobits’ Chii, Azumanga Daioh’s Yomi, and Persona 3’s Mitsuru Kirijo’s Rie Tanaka.
- Known as Kaede Azusagawa in Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai and Marguerit Farom in the upcoming Spring 2023 anime The Legendary Hero is Dead!, Yurika Kubo is the protagonist.
Other notable Anime Central 2023 representatives include Bang Zoom! Studios. In addition to providing post-production services for video games like League of Legends, this studio specializes in English dub production for anime like Samurai Champloo, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Kill la Kill.
Crunchyroll, another anime streaming provider, will also have personnel there. The anime streaming service is well-known for offering popular shows including The Legendary Hero is Dead! and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.
Panels, Cosplay, and More

Registration for Friday’s (May 19) One-Day Passes will be open from 4-10 p.m. in Hall A of the convention center on Thursday (May 18).
Everything, from Artist Alley to signature booths, officially opens for the conference at 10 a.m. There will be tabletop gaming until 10 p.m. and video gaming until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023.
Wit Studio
Guests like Yurika Kubo will be signing autographs for one hour each in room IND11 beginning at 11:30 a.m. Rie Tanaka at 1 PM, Kinema Critus at 3 PM, Wit Studio at 4 PM, and Azusa Tadororo at 7:30 PM are just a few of the closely spaced events. If you’re over 18, you may get a wristband for the after-hours events (which start at 7 p.m. and go until 2:30 a.m.) at the Registration Hall.
Vinland Saga
Limited spots for guests’ signing sessions (including Hisayuki Tabata) go on sale at 10:30 a.m. Since the 20th episode of The Vinland Saga will be shown at 6, the panel will begin at 4 p.m. A formal cosplay ball will begin at 7 p.m., following the ANIPLEX Premier, and go until midnight. The same schedule applies to the 18+ events, which start at 7:30 pm and end at 2:30 am.
My Hero Academia
The last day of Anime Central will begin at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023. The day’s events kick out at 9 a.m., with a panel about voice acting in your own home and a discussion of 10 good anime that are under 20 episodes despite the cancellation of a K-pop panel and a My Hero Academia panel.
