Andy Murray and Cameron Norrie have met only once in their entire ATP career so far. The head-to-head is owned by former World No. 1 Murray as he beat Norrie in 2019 at China Open.

The match between current British number one Cam Norrie, currently rated 11 in the world, and former British number one Andy Murray, currently ranked 47 in the world, will be exciting as they are set to meet again after their first encounter in 2029.
To begin his Cincinnati Masters campaign, 35-year-old Murray faced off in a thrilling three-set match with an old rival, Stan Wawrinka. This match was crucial in helping Murray end a bad streak of three straight losses since making it to the quarterfinals of the Hall of Fame Open last month. In his first season back after possibly career-ending surgery, the former world number one reached two finals on the tour, losing to Aslan Karatsev at the Sydney Tennis Classic and more recently to Matteo Berrettini at the Stuttgart Open.
Norrie on the other hand struggled through his opening match as well before defeating Holger Rune in three close sets, but he has been in excellent form all summer. His best performance thus far was a run to the Wimbledon semi-finals last month, but his rise from late top 100 obscurity at the beginning of last season to a top 10 contender, Masters champion, and ATP Finalist is nothing short of incredible.
Murray defeated Norrie in three sets at the China Open in 2019, but this rematch could be even closer. The younger British player’s prospects improve the longer this match lasts, and betting on Norrie to at least take a set in this potential drama seems like the smart move.
