Head To Head: 1-0

Rublev and Delbonis have only met once in their career on the court and the Russian best the Argentine at last year’s Wimbledon to lead the head to head record 1-0.

Prediction

Andrey Rublev is one of the top five favourites at the Roland Garros tournament this year. The Russian who already won three ATP titles this year so far reached the quarterfinals of the Madrid Open recently before a disappointing run at the Italian Open. He was defeated by Stefanos Tsitsipas in Spain.

The Russian’s biggest victory was beating World No. 1 Novak Djokovic at his home ground in the final of the Serbia Open to snatch ghe title from Djokovic. At Indian Wells Masters, he had an awesome run advancing to the semifinals of the tournament before losing to eventual winner Taylor Fritz. Ahead of the BNP Paribas, he clinched the Dubai International Championships defeating Jiri Vesely.

On the other hand, Federico faced several early exits this season in singles. His best results came at home where he reached the semifinals of the Argentina Open before losing to Casper Ruud. He also cliched the Open 13 title by coming past Felix Auger-Aliassime, the revenge he took from the Canadian of the loss against him at the semifinals of the ATP Rotterdam ahead of Open 13.

Quite a good run with three titles this season for the player from Russia. Better form than opponent Delbonis. The Russian won’t make it easy against the Argentine and is expected to continue his consistent run.
