Anand Upadhyay is a 16 years old boy who recently died. He lived in the Howrah neighbourhood of Liluah. He was in the 10th class at Don Bosco School.
Police stated on Saturday that a teenage boy died after allegedly falling from the 21st floor of a highrise apartment in the city’s Topsia neighbourhood.
Anand Upadhyay, 16, was visiting his aunt when he reportedly jumped from her balcony at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, according to police.
He was transported to NRS Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His family, on the other hand, claims that Ananda slipped down by mistake. The police have opened an unnatural death investigation and are investigating the cause of death.
The boy’s mother claimed that he has fallen while playing on the balcony, but the early investigation by police indicated that he did not want to return home and was upset. After some while, he requested that his mother arrange a cab for him to come home. Suddenly, he dashed towards the balcony and plunged off.
Anand, according to accounts, went swimming in the pool at the top of the 27-storey building. His mother begged him to return to their house in Belur when he arrived.
In a panic, the 15-year-old warned her mother that he would never return back to her aunt’s house. He abruptly leapt from the apartment’s verandah.
