Mughal Gardens have been renamed Amrit Udyan recently, find out more about its entry and ticket price and online booking in 2023
To honor the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, the renowned Mughal Gardens, which are housed in Rashtrapati Bhavan, have been christened Amrit Udyan.
The old name, “Mughal Gardens,” which was connected to one of India’s longest-reigning dynasties, has now been replaced. These gardens were once known as “Mughal” gardens because of their Mughal architecture. It is said that Lady Hardinge commissioned Sir Edward Lutyens, a British architect, to build it.
