The long-rumored VR feature has now been officially unveiled by Innersloth, making killing your buddies more realistic than ever.
One of the biggest surprises of the past ten years was the popularity of Among Us, which completely changed multiplayer gaming. It became a weekly ritual to trick and murder your pals, especially when we were all cooped up at home.

Following its success in 2020, Among Us even served as the model for a lot of other games and modes. Even the popular video game Fortnite discontinued Imposter Mode, which substantially borrowed from Innersloth’s winning idea.
However, despite all the success, gamers have urged the game to be released in virtual reality. Fortunately, their desires came true during The Game Awards 2021.
VR Trailers for Among Us
An first trailer stating that Among Us is getting a VR upgrade, allowing players to experience the game from a first-person perspective, was released during the award event. The brief video shows a crew member painstakingly finishing a work before being ambushed by a cunning impersonator.
On April 20, a second clip with 90 seconds of authentic Among Us VR gameplay debuted. This video gave us our first thorough impression of how the VR version of the game works, from accomplishing objectives to hunting prey.
In June, the third instalment of the Among Us VR series was released, giving fans another another look at the first-person gameplay. The talks in between rounds and some of the new and familiar chores that players will have to do on the Skeld were especially noteworthy.

A final launch trailer from October, which indicated that the debut of Among Us VR was just weeks away, brought everything together.
The Skeld, the first map that propelled the game into the public eye, will be featured in Among Us VR, the game’s creators, Innersloth, disclosed in a blog post. The spacecraft will be created in 3D to fully utilise the VR equipment.
The format will be the same as what fans are accustomed to. Only this time, instead of taking place behind a chat window for privacy, the emergency meetings will take place in person.
