CBS has confirmed that the long-awaited Among Us animated series has been given the go-ahead. Innersloth, the indie studio that created the original video game, has joined forces with CBS Eye Animation Productions and Paramount. Owen Dennis will helm the first film in the series, which will have contributions from all of the above. Nothing is known about the release date at the moment.
The Infinity Train series, which Owen Dennis created and directed, ran on Cartoon Network from 2019 to 2021. The show managed to combine Dennis’s love of fantasy and science fiction, which bodes well for those who are rooting for a talented writer to finally do justice to the Among Us brand.
