The annual Amarnath Yatra 2022 will be held this year since it is being held after a two-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic, know about its registration and form

Amarnath is a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva in the Himalayas of Jammu and Kashmir, India. All pilgrims must undertake a perilous “yatra” to reach the Amarnath Temple. This temple is around 141 kilometres away from Srinagar, at an elevation of 3,888 metres.

Both the Pahalgam track in the Anantnag district and the Baltal track in the Ganderbal district will conduct the Amarnath Yatra at the same time. The Amarnath Shrine Board has agreed to allow 10,000 pilgrims to visit the temple, except those who would go by helicopter.

The 43-day holy Yatra to Shri Amarnath Shrine will begin soon after the registration process.

This year’s Amarnath Yatra, the yearly pilgrimage, will begin on June 30. The 43-day holy Yatra to Shri Amarnath Shrine will conclude on Raksha Bandhan Day, which falls on August 11, 2022.

Registration for the yearly pilgrimage, the Amarnath Yatra begins roughly a month before the scheduled start date. The registration period will begin on April 11, 2022.

Registration Process

• Step 1: Go to @jksasb.nic.in, which is the official website of the Amarnath Yatra.
• Step 2: On the homepage, you’ll find a “Register” button, which you should click.
• Step 3: After completing the steps above, you will be taken to a page with all of the information on the Amarnath Yatra Registration. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Register Button.
• Step 4: There will be a registration form for you to fill out and submit.

Documents Required

• Formulate an Application Form
• On or after the specified date, the Authorized Doctor must give a mandatory health certificate.
• 4 Passport-sized photos
• Government Identity Proof or Aadhaar Card

Registration Fees

All pilgrims must pay registration fees as well as postage expenses in order to participate in this yatra. The registration fee for the Amarnath Yatra 2022 was Rs 150 per pilgrim last year. The temple board has not yet determined the costs for this year, although they are expected to be around Rs 150.
