Zhu secured a bronze medal in her first Summer Paralympics only during the 2012 London Games, in the women’s 200m sprint event. Zhu has been also crowned World Championships and Asia-Oceania Games medallists several times by clinching six medals over the span of three tournaments.
Her Early Life
Zhu started taking part in the competitive sport in 2003 and began with the Para Alpine Skiing in 2019. Zhu took up this sport as she enjoyed doing ski.
Zhu’s Achievements And Awards
Zhu has represented the People’s Republic of China in Para-athletics and won bronze in T12 200m event during the 2012 Paralympic Games which was held in London.
Zhu also has a B2 classification to her name in both the sports -Para alpine skiing and Para cross-country skiing. During the 2021 Asia Cup event, which was held in Yanqing, in the People’s Republic of China, where she competed in the Para alpine skiing. She also took part in Para cross-country skiing at the 2017 World Championships which was held in Finsterau, Germany.
Zhu Daqing during the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympics secured a bronze medal in the Women’s Super-G event in the Vision Impaired category. She also bagged a silver in the Women’s Downhill Vision Impaired event.
“When I heard our national anthem playing on the podium, I was very excited. Thanks to my coaching staff, I see my value,” Zhu told in her interview after her bagging the medals in the events.

Zhu practiced under the strict and experienced eyes of Dario Capelli, who is also a national alpine skier, and Leon Svetlin, a national-level alpine skier.
