The 2023 Allianz Sailing World Championships will take place at The Hague, Netherlands, from 11 to 20 August.
2023 Allianz Sailing World Championships competition preview
The 2023 Allianz Sailing World Championships held its inaugural edition twenty years ago in Cadiz, Spain. This year’s event will take place in the Netherlands with over 1,200 participants on 922 boats expected to compete. The Hague will host the event starting from 11 to 20 August. Athletes will compete for 14 world titles and a chance to win 107 Olympic quotas for Paris 2024. These quotas are for 10 Olympic classes.
2023 Allianz Sailing World Championships quotas to be awarded
The upcoming event in The Hague will feature a total of 107 Olympic quotas. These represent almost a third of the total quotas available for the Olympic Games Paris 2024. The highest-placed NOCs will receive the quotas, with a limit of one quota per NOC per event.
